A Starling Effort

I was in the Town centre and had bumped into my parents and then my son, when I noticed the sky turning red!

Off I headed to the seafront where lo and behold was a stunning sunset, bad news, I only had my long zoom lens. Good news, by looking through it, I noticed starlings over the pier in one of their evening meetings.

So off I walked towards the pier, by which time the sunset had faded somewhat, but i still managed to capture this shot!
