The Decorations Are Up

I'm really struggling with motivation for taking photographs at the moment.  It'll pass, after nearly eight years on Blipfoto you recognise the ebb and flow of creativity and roll with it.  It came to something this morning when the pink glow to the east didn't have me making the effort to get into a position to capture the sky.

We put up the Christmas decorations this afternoon.  Or rather I got everything out of the loft and left the artistic member of our partnership to dress the tree.  We were thinking of getting a real tree in a pot this year, but looking at our well used artificial tree, it was so beautiful after L had done her magic, it made me wonder why.
