Overhead

An overhead shot of the local football pitch (ground, field?).  I thought to try my drone in the misty drizzle (nearly snow, I thought at one point) and took this of the field next to the community centre (called the Ecohub).  

The cloud was very low stratus ("low scud", the Americans call it) and the aircraft was above some wisps of it which you might spot in the mottling of the image.  It gave a good impression of what it's like to fly very low in limited visibility or cloud, something I've done in various aircraft at various degrees of legality (it can happen suddenly in poor and unpredictable weather, if you pop into cloud that you hadn't seen before entering).

It also looks like a Cold War-era target image that the intelligence people provided for target-study prior to a mission.
