Today I took Ruby on a lovely walk over Richmond Park and she had a whale of a time scampering through the wet grass.

Back home I packed for our overnight stay tomorrow. We are off to Exeter, meeting mum and dad there to have a look around the market, enjoy a meal together and pass on a couple of birthday pressies.  Unfortunately, there are weather warnings in place for strong winds and rain.....hmmmph!.

In the evening Mr C, Lucy and I went to quiz for the yearly Christmas special. We were greeted with sausage rolls, mince pies and festive head gear on the table. Half way through we were also entertained with some carol singers from a local church and given song sheets to join in with them. A lovely, fun evening.
