Frozen Sands at South Shields

It was so cold when we got there, and so misty, even the sand was frozen. We got out of the car, David bought a take away coffee while I took a few shots, admiring the brave dog walkers and a nutty surfer! Geordies are a tough race! Then we left to go to the cinema to see Knives Out, in Durham, excellent light entertainment.

Travelling back on a ridiculously early flight tomorrow, hope it is not too icy or foggy.
