Baby Bouquetin .....

..... in the last light of the afternoon. He looks alone but if you look at the extras, you can see his herd not far away. It is the rut for these beautiful animals, and the males have joined the females and their young for a party! The snow that was here last week has all but gone, so the bouquetin were enjoying the exposed grass on the south facing side of the Roc d'Orsay. I couldn't make up my mind which to blip. What a wonderful present to catch up with them after hours of travelling from the U.K.
