At Kilpeck: Asparagus waiting x
Asparagus is a weird plant. These fronds are allowed to die back in winter, or at least have thee appearance of dying back. Asparagus is a lot like bracken. So to many, although a cash crop when the sun shines if you haven't got the man power to keep up with the harvesting, the plant literally grows like a possessed weed, and spoils itself into bolting and using all its energy up on one hot day!
I was delivering wood today. An unusually warm day, with snow visibly on the hills behind Kilpeck onto Hay on Wye. The lighting almost spring like.......x
