Truly Blippin' Marvelous

By JohnEdward

More festivities . . .

A trio of Apache County Library office staff accompanied by Lucille Ashcroft set the tone for a joyous evening of caroling at the library with excellent renditions of  Far, Far Away on Judea's Plains and I heard the Bells on Christmas Day. Lucille is a multi-instrumentalist and next played harp arrangements of The First Noël and What Child is This? (Greensleeves). Children acquitted themselves well singing and playing ukulele and keyboard. And yours truly tried to overcome hands shaking with nervous energy to play the dulcimer. The Round Valley Library staff had fun with The Night Before Christmas read by Carol Roberts (who also MC'd the proceedings.

And then a long choir practice! Didn't get home til 21:00.
