Feeling Flat

I work for a Company that throughout the Country employ over 1000 staff. Today was breakup day for Christmas, some of us have to work through if we are on call. We had no Card no vouchers like previous years no Kiss my backside or Nothing, this made me feel really flat and I know exactly where we stand. One of our workers organised some Platters and Pizzas and we went of site as all our Depots are Dry, for what was about as exciting as watching paint dry. This would be, well is the worst work function I have ever attended in my working life which is 40 years now. After I had been bored for long enough I went and saw some people who do make me happy. Finished all my Christmas Shopping this afternoon.
