A question at siesta time.

No. Giz is not supposed to be in that basket on the kitchen island bench but who could deny him.

My question is, if folks with professional or better quality cameras were to take this photo, would the upright elements of this photo be perfectly straight? Is it my little Nikon Coolpix that is distorting things?
