Early Christmas With The Granddaughters

Son Evan, his wife Chelsea, and our two darling granddaughters drove from Vermont today to celebrate early Christmas with us in Boston.  What fun we all had ripping into presents!  The big hit for Nora was her Queen outfit (complete with opera gloves, no less!), which she immediately put on, and probably won't be taking off again until some time late next year!  Baby sister Willa was happy as a clam with empty boxes and crinkly wrapping paper, but also enjoyed her new banana teether as well as a very chatty bunny toy.  The girls are sleeping off the Christmas excess right now, and then we will all have Chinese take out for dinner!
