House Finch

There was a whole new cast of characters in the backyard this afternoon.  There were juncos (snowbirds), this Housefinch, Nuthatches, and Carolina Wrens, Robins as well as yesterday's Chickadee's, Cardinals, and Titmouses (my research reveals that the plural of titmouse is titmouses and not titmice.). This guy looked especially handsome in the late afternoon sun.
