Tucked Away

Low sun in the late afternoon streamed through the trees from behind me lighting up a little nook on the far shore. Normally I think I would pass this by unnoticed, but the light and shade, playing a dance over the grasses and trunks, really brought the scene to life.

There are light patches in the background where there are fewer trees which adds depth to the image. The foreground blue ice in shade, reflects the sky colour, contrasting against the warm tones above.

Not much processing required because the scene was so nicely lit.
