1st Cake Done!

Every year #2Daughter makes Christmas cakes for the family. With dwindling numbers to feed and her now working more hours and #1 Daughter STILL not really liking dried fruit, I suggested We have ONE cake. That would save Kat having to work out different sizes and cooking times.

I've got half to ice for The Man and I, a quarter for The Bro-in-Law and a quarter for the not-liking-dried-fruit Daughter. This is the first to be iced. I think next year I'll have an arty theme based on paints or piping to keep it more eco-friendly. AND I'll start earlier.

Lol, where have I heard that before?

Been to church twice today, a sad funeral and a joyful carol service.
