Union Terrace Gardens

Union Terrace Gardens has been in the news again recently. Glasgow has announced there will be a revamp of George Square in time for the Commonwealth Games next year. This has reignited the controversy surrounding the decision not to to spend a fortune to raise Union Terrace Gardens.

This was the view of the garden in the early afternoon today. I am facing partially into the sun which does not help the sky, but it was a clear blue sky. The temperature remained fairly cool and the snow is still around, especially in shady areas.

I notice it almost looks as though there is something written in the snow. I presume it is just reflection from the windows on the left of the garden.
