Candlelit Concert

A treat this evening to be in the audience for a performance by the Chiltern Chamber Choir. Normally I am singing with the choir but tonight I was listening. I have missed so many rehearsals with being away, that it was not fair of me to try to perform. The choir did very well with what is a long and hard sing - the Monteverdi Vespers of 1610 - and it was a few elements of the orchestra that almost sent it off course.

Afterwards there is always a bit of a party when I was able to catch up with friends within the choir - I assured them I will be back after Christmas.

This concert, always on the 23rd December, is the start of Christmas. All concerts done and carols over for another year!
