#PositiveAdvent Day 24 - Waiting for the big day

A Christmas Eve trip to the barbers, I now feel a stone lighter.  Lol!

The rest of the day has been packing my presents and going through my Christmas Eve reading.

Merry Christmas all!

So, on Day 24 of Positive Advent I’m thankful for:

1.       A good night’s sleep
2.       A lie in
3.       For the fun and games on BBC Breakfast this morning
4.       For being the first at the barbers this morning, and not having to wait
5.       For a good thinning out of the old barnet, should last me a few months again
6.       For the laughter and jokes of Dave the barber
7.       For Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express being on TV
8.       For biting the bullet and buying tickets for Pearl Jam’s gig in London next year
9.       For Toy Story 3 film on TV, great entertainment
10.   For fun and laughter with my friends on Twitter, when they thought I tweeted about Viagra. Lol
11.   For a chippy tea, saves the hassle of cooking when the turkey is already cooking and presents need to be packed
12.   For hearing from my fellow transplant warrior Ann, it was great to hear from her and for her friendship
13.   For reading some of my friend’s work, she really is rather talented
14.   For Agatha Christie and her amazing books, currently reading Poirot’s Christmas
15.   For Dylan Thomas and his works, I’m currently reading A Child’s Christmas in Wales
16.   For a relatively quiet day with no idiotic behaviour, so far
17.   For Wallace and Gromit’s Wrong Trousers, just classic comedy
18.   For finishing all my Christmas packing, and not having mislaid any presents
19.   For quality family time with my mother and father
20.   For plenty of cups of tea, to accompany my reading and packing
21.   For a lovely slice of Bara Brith
22.   For  fun and laughter with friends
23.   For a Christmas free from dialysis this year, and a future to look forward to
24.   For Positive Advent which has made me appreciate more the small things in life, so much so that I’m going to carry it on from here.  Maybe 5 a day or more depending on what might have happened
