Christmas Day swim

What a beautiful day, the sun was shining as we joined the crowds walking towards the beach to watch the Christmas Day swim.  Its the first time the weather has been so glorious in the years since we have been here.  There was great excitement as the brave swimmers made the dash into the sea, today they had a gloriously calm sea so some stayed in for a good swim.  After chatting to friends we all walked along the beach before heading for home.

Presents all opened and the food in the oven so its a few minutes to spare before the cooking, eating and drinking begins in earnest.  Merry Christmas to all.
