A very good turnout for the traditional Boxing Day walk from Ticknall, with 26 walkers compared to 6 yesterday.

As usual I missed the Ingelby/Ticknall turning, and had to drive the length of the Swarkestone Bridge and back in order to take it.

I thought the rain had stopped as forecast after a couple of miles, but then it returned with a vengeance, and my waterproofs are being reproofed as I type in readiness for New Year in the Lakes!
