A happy Christmas

Up fairly early to drive to daughter's in time for their Christmas morning service. It was a beautiful, cold and clear morning with the sun rising and mist over the fields and water.
We arrived in plenty of time and walked down to the church which is by the sea (the extra is the view from the door at 10am) and had a short celebration of Christmas in the Seaman's Chapel. The out-laws were also there.
The rest of the day was spent opening presents, eating (cheese scones and sausage rolls the boys had made and later Christmas dinner all helped provide something for - though the burning of the sprouts rather than the pudding was not planned!). and playing games.
Oh, and I had a short walk to make room for dinner.
Hope you've had a good day
