My mother and I went to see who was on the pond at Wandsworth Common in the early afternoon. There was a shoveler drake in eclipse plumage which is unusual around here, but I found the ripply reflections irresistible in this almost mono swanny shot.
Oh, also saw a great spotted woodpecker which was a treat.
