Sheffield Park Garden: Nellie's Arctic Adventures

A few scenes from Sheffield Park Garden in this afternoon's clear winter light.

The sculptures on the upper lakes (produced from old plastic milk bottles) are part of the current installation in the Garden recalling Nellie Peel's pioneering trip to the Arctic in 1893.

Today's other 'Extra' shows the sad sight of the recently fallen Eucalyptus beside Storage Pond at the upper end of the Garden.
