Today was rather . . . . Gairlochy

We were promised a good day today - well at least a dry day. Daughter 1 had proposed a drive up to the Caledonian Canal at Gairlochy plus a look at Neptune's Staircase on the same canal followed by a visit to the 'Treasures of the Earth' museum at Corpach. Our friend from Skye came with us and continued home after the day's activities were over.

We had a walk up the canal to this little lighthouse, but hadn't reckoned on such a gloomy day, with light drizzle and a strong wind. As you can see, we had a great time!

The museum was wonderful and in spite of the weather and a dark, drizzly drive home, a good time was had by all!
