Snowshoeing to Sundance Canyon

We went snowshoeing to Sundance Canyon today. Whew! It was a 12 kilometer trek through the snow. But it was fun and we got to try out our new snowshoe gear. The actual canyon was covered in mounds and mounds of snow and as we remembered from our bike ride to the canyon last summer it is a gorgeous canyon but difficult to photograph. The canyon is dark, blocked by trees and not much of a waterfall. We will also be journeying to Johnston Canyon which has large waterfalls with an unobstructed view.
