moon and venus

spotted the moon and venus in the sky tonight, just after sunset. Unfortunately I was in the back of the car going down the M4 en route to Bath with only a relatively wide-angle compact to hand. I took some snaps through the window. By the time we arrived at the hotel the moon was still visible over the abbey but venus had disappeared.
