An ordinary life....

Double Trouble...

Up bright and early this morning as our bedroom was getting the final touches put to its makeover (sadly the same can't be said for the ensuite, which is still not finished.  Hopefully soon!) with art work going on the walls and new bed linen on the bed.  I am delighted with it :-))

Tesco delivery just after 10am then a visit to our local butcher to collect the steak pies for Ne'erday dinner plus breakfast goodies for a full Scottish breakfast on Ne'erday morning.

David picked Alan's pal Andrew up at 12.30 then Alan, Andrew and Jordan headed off to Dunfermline for a ten pin bowling competition.  They retuned in time for a very quick chippy dinner before heading off again, this time with David in tow, to Elfingrove at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and museum in Glasgow.  Lola and I had the place to ourselves.  I planned to have a pamper session but dozed off!  Woke up half an hour before they returned!  David now taking Andrew home.

Ele's still not sure what's happening re. Kenny's mum.  It may be that we will have Andrew, Jennifer, Nikki and Esme here for dinner on New Year's Day, but if Ishbel is well enough to go to Ele and Kenny's I will pack up the food and we will have dinner there.

But there's Hogmanay to celebrate before then, with a lovely side of salmon and lime and coriander prawns for dinner, with roasted winter veg.  We will see in the New Year with our butcher's delicious cocktail sausage rolls, a cheese platter and the traditional madeira cake, fruit bun and shortbread.  Games wise there is Kazoo Karaoke, Rudolph hoopla and a massive quiz book.

And then, before we know it, 2020 will be here!
