Before the Film

L and I went up to the Filmhouse and add lunch before meeting up with F to watch The Bridge on the River Kwai. Although I have seen it before it was a long time ago and better to see it on the big screen. our bus journey home was delayed by the ongoing Underbelly take-over of our city - Princes Street closed and buses diverted. Something needs to be done, At the very least much greater transparency about the money involved. We are all told it is a great financial benefit to the city but the detailed accounts are confidential. Increasingly I think that isn't going to stand. Public money and public resources should mean 100% public accounting.
