Temple Square Salt Lake City

Where else can two people from NC be on New Year’s Eve and run into the guy she taught in CTR8 Sunday school, that now lives in Virginia (along with his wife and child) and then also run into your friends from Oregon?!

We began our day by meeting the grandkids and their parents and heading to the cinema to see the latest Star Wars movie.

We then drove into SLC to have an early dinner at a steak house, which was quite enjoyable.

As tonight is the last night the Christmas lights are on at Temple Square, until next year, we had decided we would have a walk around before calling it a night.

It was while walking about that Natalie spotted us. Natalie with her husband and daughter and then Ethan, Mia & baby Wally. When Natalie sends that photo of me with her brother Ethan, Mia & Wally to her mum, Gwen, bet she’s gonna be major surprised!

Then a short while later, we go into the Joseph Smith building to use the bathrooms and Bonnie & Paul Cornu have the same idea. So we take photos with them and Kent sends it off to their son John to let him know what a small world it is.

2019 has gone out on a happy note so I hope that means 2020 has awesome things in store for us.

Here’s wishing each and everyone a healthy and happy and prosperous New Year.
