Hogsheads

These hogsheads have aged well since they were last used for maturing whisky. Each one holds 63 us gallons ( Imp 52.45 gall or for the young/scientific/europeans 238.5 L ).

They were probably made from white oak and used once to mature bourbon in the US and then shipped over to Scotland for the whisky industry.
