Shine on

In the dark midwinter we look to the light.
Electric light, candle light,
The twinkle of fairy lights on trees and mantles.
Now that the new year has begun, we look to the spring, and the gradual lengthening of the days.

My first night at home since 20th December. Back to work tomorrow. January... bring it on!
