Church

Shot with a roll of film I found in the attic..... not really.  It was the only (quick) picture I took on New Years Eve, and I forgot to focus (my camera was set to manual).  Here it is, juiced up with some templates, an attempt to make it look better.  My apologies.

On Christmas eve in 1899, Charles Ives, the great American composer was the organist and choir director of the Presbyterian Church in Bloomfield, New Jersey.  On Christmas eve, he performed THIS piece, originally written for trumpet and organ, in 2 keys, a half step apart, and beginning the melody on separate beats.  He was fired.  Why am I telling you this?  Not sure, maybe trying to make up for the emergency church blip.
