Tarragon Chicken

Tarragon chicken with potatoes. Wine: Etchart Privado Torrontés 2018.

Most of Buenos Aires was closed today for the holiday, so we walked through Centro up into Retiro to see various squares and buildings only of interest from the outside. We kept an eye out for an appealing lunch spot and found one. This is the first Torrontés I’ve had—it was very aromatic, with strong peach and floral notes. Argentina is (righty) known for its beef, but I always love eating chicken when I’m in South America—it really tastes like chicken, as opposed to next to nothing at all as much chicken does at home.
