Derelict

Over to the Folks again today, first visit of the year, and it went as well as can be expected. We did not get the phone calls done though, as their lunch took longer than expected to cook.

I took this shot of the old derelict buildings at the station. I think this is the old Railway control building - it was built at the beginning of WW2 after the main control centre got bombed. The station closed in 1961 and was re-opened in a more basic capacity in 1975.

Tomorrow work will resume and I will go back to having little life outside it! I started getting calls from suppliers today!
