Montacute's beautiful hedge.

We had planned to get up and head off but that seemed rude so we suggested taking Mr and Mrs Angelique to Montacute House, a local National Trust property. Unfortunately this was too much of a change of plan for Matthew so Mr A stayed behind with him.

We ate lunch there then looked around the house and the long gallery which houses part of the National Portrait Galleries collection.

Outside I am always drawn to the fantastic Yew cloud hedge.

We have had a lovely couple of days and have been very well looked after, thank you mr and Mrs Angelique!
