Lights

Took the kids over to catch their ferry home in miserable cold rain. (Here https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2659616776505002095 )Happy to get back to cozy but managed to try to get a photo of the neighbor across the bay's lights for him, ( of chip butty fame) since he doesn't have a boat out.(only a helicopter)  Not great ( looks better large).  and it wasn't quite dark ON PURPOSE..4:15. but it still looks festive I thought , and there's even a merganser lurking in the water.  Extra, Golden crown kinglet H and I saw on our walk (in the rain) earlier...;on the scots broom...(Yea, new extras!) Tried to interest the girls in looking for all the bones we know on our property, but they weren't.  It was a nice time here anyway...they are quite content entertaining themselves....Kirsten did some fabulous trail maintenance, Peter cleaned the gutters and they did most of the dinners and much of the puzzle.    Happy to have quiet now for another day however!!  :-)
