Orange Peel...?

Thats what our youngests nickname was, still is sometimes with his mates. We called him Neil thinking it couldnt be shortened, but as he got older he became "orange"....short for orange peel obviously lol!!

Anyhow, my blip is obviously not orange peel, but a lovely hamamelis, otherwise known as witch hazel....as seen today when we had a drive out to Garstang.

We visited Barton Grange, had a lovely roast beef & horseraddish brown barmcake with a coffee....was hoping to pick up a new set of outdoor christmas lights in the sale, no such luck.....hardly anything left!!

Decided to drive home and call in Bents to see what they had left........no luck there either, did buy a new rubber draining mat for on top of the marble worktop, and three gifts for next xmas ;-0

We stopped off for a Costa late afternoon before heading home. Hub drove and I walked, to at least get a few steps in!!!

Dinner this evening was prawn linguine, topped with a small fillet of hot smoked salmon.....rather delish :-)
