Into the sun

My final day of holiday from work and Richard had the day off.  We went off to NT Knole and arrived just as it started to rain.  We set off for a walk in the drizzle to see the deer, after a while the sky cleared a little and the boy in my blip seemed to warm his face in the sunshine.   We went off on the brown walk which the information on the website said was not muddy, however it was very muddy but we had our walking boots on, so not a problem but rather slippy underfoot.

Lots of deer and a good walk.  The cafe was super busy and we had to sit outside which was a little cold but we coped.

Back home we watched a recording of the Pete Tong concert we went to before Christmas and cooked dinner.

Stats for the day: Over 20,000 steps so lots of walking and a bit of jigging around to Pete Tong.  Pie for dinner (not the best but had them in the freezer to use up).  Homemade pudding which was very nice.
