Just a wee slip

Unloading the dishwasher a glass slipped from my hand. It dropped into the drawer where they're kept breaking 2 more of the set. Yep, a comprehensive mess.

On the upside I cleaned out one kitchen drawer.

Every plate, dish, and glass in the drawer had to be wiped or washed to ensure all fragments of glass were removed.

Everything slowly and carefully removed, including the non-slip mat at the bottom of the drawer. Careful being the operative word and I managed to clean up without drawing blood.

The broken glasses collected in a bowl look both pretty and dangerous. They're now loosely wrapped in newspaper at the bottom of my red bin.

Today's gratitude: For more careful decision making and not rushing anything.
