Winter Wander

Today I met up with my Fungus group for what has become known as our Winter Wander. We meet up in a park with a café and spend an hour or two searching for fungi, then go indoors to plan our next year’s activities and events. My job is to coordinate the later and although I love them dearly, it’s a bit like herding cats. We had a good turnout despite a miserable start weather wise. This year’s venue was one of the City’s museums which is located in a park and is the home of this weather station. Two birds added to my year list: Black-headed Gull and Coot
