Inverness

The news that we couldn't get home, (more ferries cancelled because of the weather), dampened spirits. But soon a plot was hatched to spend a night in Inverness and suddenly the frustrations of the journey were replaced with plans for the bonus extra day's holiday.

We went for a lovely walk along the river, wandered round the shops and dined out.

A fine end to the holiday..... unless we fail to get home tomorrow....
I wonder how many bonus holiday days can be enjoyed before the novelty wears a bit thin?
