Budapest Parliament

As the title says this is Budapest Parliament, if it looks familiar its because its the same Gothic revival style as the Palace of Westminster (Houses of Parliament UK).

The architect Imre Steindl never saw the building completed as he went blind before the building was finished
A 1000 people were involved in the build

40Kg's of gold
If you visited Budapest before 1990 you would have saw the huge red star on top of the dome

One of the most unusual things for me is the amount of security, it's usually one guard, you can walk up the stairs and providing you have your passport do the tour free.

It was really pleasant walking around the town tonight, -2 but still great.
