Snowy Vajdahunyad castle

Another night shot sorry, but I finish work late. Thanks for all the lovely comments stars and hearts.

This is Vajdahunyad castle it's situated in the city park Budapest. It was built for the millenium celebration in 1896. It's based on the Hunyad Castle Transylvania. It contains at lest five different architectural styles. The building on the left of the picture is the agricultural museum.

The grounds holds the statue of Anonymous who lived in the 12th century, real name unknown but is credited with writing the famous Gesta Hungarorum (deeds of Hungarians). Also more obscurely it also has a statue of Bela Lugosi, which would make a great Blip one day :-)

Lots of snow and minus temperatures here today but that fine the roads stay open thanks to an army of gritters. Just read my Facebook, was there snow in the UK? :-)

Have a lovely weekend all, I'm heading out to dinner with the boys after a few G&T's
