Three in a row

Three shiny, new tractors in the yard next to the garage.

Yes, the saga of the misbehaving car alarm continues! We took the car down to the garage in Alnwick for 1.00pm, as arranged, and supplied them with the alarm's PIN code. They were to run diagnostics, then repair the alarm once and for all. Meanwhile, MrM and I walked to the DIY store to buy a necessary tool, then had lunch in the supermarket's cafe before doing a very modest shop. Still no call from the garage to say that the work was done, so we went back to the DIY store to waste another half an hour look at floor paint and pick up some paint cards. Eventually we wandered back to the garage, but the car was still in the repair shop and we sat around in the showroom for another 45 mins until it was ready to go. Ready but not repaired! The diagnostic had shown that it needs a full new alarm unit which will be expensive, and they need the OK from Nissan before they do the work as the car's still under warranty. Eventually we left the garage just before 5.00pm, no further on...
