New Term

The team returned today, and almost on cue so did Percy the Peacock! The team from UK Parliament came today, and it was good to meet such a lovely group. Their education is so different from ours. They get 5000 schools a year, we get 350! Theirs is all free, in fact they also subsidise schools travel and accommodation to visit! Their away day was all paid for, travel, coffee, lunch! We will self fund our trip to them in February. The team member who gave them a guided tour of the castle declared it was a joy to give a ‘grown up’ tour and have intelligent questions! We asked them to pretend they were 10 years old and then gave them our workshop. They got right into the spirit of it, acting as if an Oscar depended on it!
