Sorrow

There are no words to describe the feelings of loss. My mom passed away today during the night. We were with her throughout the process and I can’t really explain but when she opened her eyes and saw me for a few seconds, it was like if she gave me strength to hold myself together. She passed peacefully keeping a very tranquil expression and a slight smile. She always said that she wanted to live to a hundred and, in a way she did counting her life inside the womb.
