Going back in time

There's been enough talk over the past few years of 'sorting out the photos'. So to make a public commitment here's a blip of the low tech sorting system now in place. The dining room table is covered with boxes of albums, loose photos and scrapbooks. The chairs and dresser have bags that I've been saving for years finally fulfilling a purpose. There are photos from well before 1980 but that's the chosen starting point. The '70s can wait. And the family photos we both have stretching way beyond that can wait longer still. 1980 is 40 years ago! I can't remember when we went completely digital but there's decades of photographs to sort out. I've done a first cull of out of focus landscapes of unknown places for a few of the years from 1980 onwards and will have a more thorough sort once all the albums are empty and the bits which can be recycled are removed.

It's going to provide many hours of entertainment!

Quick Community Council catch up meeting this morning. Planning for the next three months felt good. This afternoon Tuesdays return to routine with the four year old coming for her sleepover. However, it'll be a different Wednesday as the baby sister will be delivered here at 07:00 for the first two girl childminding day.

If I can I'll go to yoga tonight as that feels as if it might be useful
