Arnold's new trailer

The painters are here today doing the inside of our townhouse, so we are hidden away in the train room - which won't be getting paint.  Painted the 3D printed horse trailer (ShapeWays) I got a while ago.  Arnold needed a horse trailer and pickup to pick him up when the passenger train with his horse car makes a stop in Glenwood Springs on the N Scale layout.  I used Ferrari Red as the color - seemed appropriate.  

Amazing the detail they get in 3D printing.  And reasonable cost.  A good scrub with my green cleaner, a shot of primer, and then the spray gun.  I used Vallejo Model Air paint this time - really like the way it goes on.  Plus, the little bottle it comes in is ready to spray.  A few drops in the gun and away you go.  The silver and black were brush painted today.
