The dropped stitch

Hat

At a low ebb for blip inspiration, so to follow the slippers.... my hat.

It's very warm and cosy but is hindered by a heavy bobble. No good, therefore, in a gale - the wind catches the bobble and whisks the hat into the air.
Also, as I discovered on New Year's Eve, no good for beach combing. When you bend down to pick something up, the bobble heads for the ground and gravity takes it clean off your head.
No good in the rain - the thick, pure wool develops a distinct oily, sheep smell.

Despite all its shortcoming it's still my favorite hat at the moment.
