Unilluminated Christmas Light

The saddest thing I always think about this time of year are the discarded Christmas decorations you see at home and at work. There hasn't been enough time to tidy them away, so they lie as reminders of the recent festive period.

I took this photo on my way to a hair appointment in Wolverhampton city centre this evening.The Council stopped illuminating the lights on Monday but haven't quite had time to take them all down yet.
