Cat on the lap

Was working late tonight and got home late, made supper and sat down to watch some catch-up TV. Relaxing afterwards my cat decided to jump on my lap. I've had Rosie for just over 2 years, she was a rescue cat and is now 4 and a half years old. When I first got her she used to sit and watch me from a distance when I sat down to watch TV, so to have her jump on my lap now is a real privilege.This picture is almost a silhouette, it's a shame because it doesn't show how pretty she is, but hopefully in the coming year I'll be able to take lots of photos to add to Blip.
